Overbooked

Thank God my trial today got continued, because if it hadn't it would have been a little tough to spend the entire day writing a memo contra in another case and doing other emergency research, and I probably wouldn't be able to spend tomorrow writing an arbitration brief and a motion for summary judgment. I only have one trial scheduled for this week that I have to get settled, but I already knew that since it would have been a problem to have two trials simultaneously. And I think next week I just have one arbitration and one trial, and they are both simple cases. It is overwhelming to think about the fact that I am so busy that I have to rely on something always being continued or canceled or settled, or it simply all can't get done. But what needed to get done today did, so I feel good but exhausted.
